Judicial College Advisory Committee, Washington, D.C.
The D.C. Judicial College Advisory Committee collaborates on the development of the College curriculum, admissions criteria, standards, accreditation, and other aspects of the College. The Committee consists of: (1) specified Academic Departments relevant to judicial education, as represented by sitting Chair or Dean, among the Consortium of Universities of the D.C. Metropolitan Region; and (2) Chief Judges and Chief Clerks of D.C. courts, having the responsibility of Court Administration—i.e., those having an interest and stake in Court excellence, the proper functioning of the Courts, and in evidence, studies-based improvements to judicial selection, education, and training.
